Well hello old friend!

I have not seen this painting since it was shipped years ago, and there it is in a beautiful room designed by Nancy Price.  This photo is via The Scout Guide - Feel Blue: In Praise of Navy.

Have a Little Faith in Your Work - Part II

Thank you Brooklyn Living  for pairing an image of my painting with your floral arrangement on your site!  It does a body good to know this painting has been appreciated so!  Two (2) other pairings from others of this particular painting were posted here in March 2013, blog post titled ,  Have a Little Faith in your Work.

Very excited that things are coming along in my new gallery location, I will post more on that nearing completion!  If you are an artist interested in submitting, please go to my website.
Until then, my best!

I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure, which is try to please everybody. ~ Herbert Bayard Swope

This is an extremely large painting which now resides in a residence in a very large room with high ceilings and a solid long wall.  I am always surprised to see how walls can eat up paintings, so large often is perfect.  I enjoyed its process immensely.

Every once in a while I catch an image of one of my paintings on the web and I will see a painting installed in a different orientation than how I painted it.  I think it works well this way, so thanks to the talented eye of NancyPrice who installed this painting horizontally for her client!

I am celebrating my favorite time of year, spring, with this fresh 30×40 acrylic abstraction on canvas.  All the glorious color just renews my heart and spirit this time of year, and I'm hoping it is the beginning of good things to come!

I have always enjoyed all styles of art, but in the end it is the classics that move my heart, pieces that tell a story of life's triumphs and adversities, the human spirit.  The greatest of landscapes are those reflected on the faces which show the heart and soul of an individual, a face that tells a story.  These are my favorite works to do, hope you enjoy this one, and please visit my website as I will be blogging from there.  The link is at the top of the page.  Thanks for visiting...

Pics from the studio...

Some photos are grainy, fuzzy but I thought it might be fun to post images taken in the studio.  The last image shows a seating area with a painting my father did - I keep there for inspiration. Please feel free to contact me regarding a my work, or his.  Have a wonderful day, and great week ahead.

Good heavens, someone's using my name for another blog!

Someone in another country, Indonesia I believe, is using my name and almost the same URL as mine for another Google blog.  They aren't me, and my name definitely would not be a common name in their country.  I am guessing to drive traffic to their blog, or for spamming, I don't know, it just seems so wrong.
I already began blogging from my website, but will keep this blog up to perhaps counter the other blog.  Anyone else have this problem?
