There is something about silver that has always entranced me. I don't know if it is its cool nature as opposed to warm gold, can't put a finger on it, but love this silver wreath on this large lantern. Looking forward to the holidays!
I have not seen this painting since it was shipped years ago, and there it is in a beautiful room designed by Nancy Price. This photo is via The Scout Guide - Feel Blue: In Praise of Navy.
Thank you Brooklyn Living for pairing an image of my painting with your floral arrangement on your site! It does a body good to know this painting has been appreciated so! Two (2) other pairings from others of this particular painting were posted here in March 2013, blog post titled , Have a Little Faith in your Work.
Very excited that things are coming along in my new gallery location, I will post more on that nearing completion! If you are an artist interested in submitting, please go to my website.
Until then, my best!

I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure, which is try to please everybody. ~ Herbert Bayard Swope
This is an extremely large painting which now resides in a residence in a very large room with high ceilings and a solid long wall. I am always surprised to see how walls can eat up paintings, so large often is perfect. I enjoyed its process immensely.

Every once in a while I catch an image of one of my
paintings on the web and I will see a painting installed in a different orientation than how I painted it. I think it works well this way, so thanks to the talented eye of NancyPrice who installed this painting horizontally for her client!
