Those who love cooler temps, forgive me! As a child growing up on the coast I was
terribly spoiled with very mild winters.
My days
were filled with chasing butterflies and staring at big fluffy clouds and feeling free, barefoot all but a few months of the year. Even my brother felt the same way, coining a phrase,
"zero temperature," meaning we could walk outside and feel no
discernible difference from the temperature inside. So as I sit this morning with thick socks on
and a down throw wrapped around me I know I do try my darnedest to be enthusiastic
when talk turns to excitement about cooler temps by friends I
know, I do try. But alas, my heart carries me back to a time when I was ever so content,
with no chill in my days, me, butterflies, and zero temperatures.

I love that concept - zero temperature. I do love the cooler weather, but know what you mean by how nice it is to have indoors and out being the same.
sweet memories.
lovely painting and it looks cool to me.

Linda, yes! It just seems so perfect to walk outside and you just feel no difference. I don't care for hitting a wall of heat, or a blast of cold air, it makes the sense go, "Ackkkkkkk!!!!!"
PVE - have to go check your site and see what you are reporting on the hurricane!
Thanks both of you for your comments!
