Restoration

I've a lot of catching up to do since my time away, and one of several projects includes some minor restorative work on some old oil paintings, little things that are easily mended. While working on one such piece today I was reminded of conversations friends and I have regarding our own minor cosmetic issues. Our general conclusion is, "It's nothing money can't fix," and, "I'll address it when I win the lottery."  We've all seen how amazing a smile can look with a little restorative work done by the right professional. Bottom line is we can fix imperfections or do a little restoration work if we choose, however sometimes doing nothing gives great character, artistically speaking.
“We are all wonderful, beautiful wrecks. That's what connects us--that we're all broken, all beautifully imperfect.”   ~ Emilio Estevez

Can't buy character, health, a good seat in the afterlife - ;-) Though I have heard it actually can buy you love.

Brannon, that is funny, I believe Steve Martin had something to say about your second sentence. I wholeheartedly agree with the first.

Thank you, Charlene, so nice to see your visit. ;-) I know fall must be beautiful in your special part of the woods.
