Tina Steele Lindsey - Sonnet

Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside them was superior to circumstance ~ Bruce Barton
Viewing this painting at a distance I am reminded of the flower arrangement my dear husband presented me at the hospital. I was deeply touched by his concern when he walked in the room, and by his thoughtfulness in selecting the most beautiful blue irises I'd ever seen. The uplifting spirit they both brought was a godsend, a memory forever emblazoned in my heart and soul. 48X32 acrylic on canvas - 48X32 acrylic on canvas

I can certainly see that, Tina, about the irises! What does it mean about migraines? I get them, too! Please let me know, I'll check back! Anita Baskin from Orlando!

Anita, so sorry you have them, too! I did this painting and the previous, in natural light and no music while coming out of the other side of two migraines. Interesting experiment.

Thank you for your visit, Francine, and for enjoying the painting. I am so pleased to read you no longer suffer from migraines, you must be ecstatic to no longer have them. Any secret?

Yes, Doctors Without Borders is wonderful. If I had been a physician that organization would definitely be one I'd be a part of.

I am drawn to the loose/free composition in this work Tina. It could be a lot of things but even if you hadn't mentioned irises my mind would have gone there. The blues are amazing and there is no better flower than the iris.
